Ten ways you can help:

  1. Contribute to the 2010 Tour of Missouri and receive really cool Tour of Missouri Swag - will send details via Facebook, Twitter, Email Blasts, and YouTube messages when available
  2. Sign the "Support the Tour of Missouri" Petition - Link to be shared very soon!
  3. Sign up for our email list so that you can be kept in the loop with the latest announcements and promotions
  4. Register at tourofmissourifanzone.com so that you can interact with other fans, as well as share photos and videos (and enter some of the exciting contests planned for cool merchandise and hospitality tickets)
  5. Upload your videos to YouTube and the Fan Zone. Make sure you tag them with tom2010 so that we can easily locate them!
  6. Tweet about how much you love the Tour of Missouri, and use hashtag #tom2010 so that we can see all of your posts and share your excitement with sponsors, cyclists, and Missouri State Government Officials to encourage them to continue their well appreciated support of the event.
  7. Upload your photos from all past Tour of Missouri events to the Fan Zone, Picasa, and/or Flickr, and tag them all with the appropriate year (tom2009, tom2008, or tom2007) so that we can find and share them with other fans.
  8. Missouri Residents - Contact your local representatives and let them know how important this event is to you and for what reasons, whether it is because of the economic impact it has on the local communities and state as a whole, the educational aspect of providing an interesting curriculum to the schools, that it promotes healthy lifestyles for children and adults alike (Bike sales increased the week of the event in 2009), the Tourism exposure as the eyes of the world focus on Missouri for a week each year, or the increased sense of community as all of the host cities unite to put together a special welcome to the visitors from nearly 100 countries and all 50 states. Or maybe you can just tell them you want it because it is a heck of a lot of fun!
  9. Write/call/email/or send smoke signals to the local media to encourage them to help raise the Tour of Missouri to an even higher level than it has already achieved in just 3 years (Widely considered one of the top professional cycling events not only in the United States, or in North America, but in the world!)
  10. Share all of the above with your friends so that you can interact with them on all of the fan sites, as well as hang out with them at the Tour of Missouri in September!
